Job Description:

Melink Corporation is seeking a full-time Finance Manager to support the company’s continued growth and help strengthen the Finance function across FP&A, business intelligence, stakeholder reporting, financial modeling, and M&A support.

The Finance Manager will be expected to operate with a high degree of independence, improve existing finance processes, and serve as the financial partner to business unit and department leaders.  This role will support the structure, reporting discipline, and analytical capability needed as Melink continues to scale organically and through its acquisition strategies.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling, reporting systems, business intelligence, and analytical skills, along with an entrepreneurial mindset toward process improvement.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate extreme ownership of the role and will report to the CFO.

Finance Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • FP&A Workstream Ownership: Own and improve recurring FP&A workstreams, including interactive budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance insights.
  • Stakeholder Reporting Packages: Prepare recurring reporting packages for the Board, investors, bankers, executive leadership, and department leaders.  Distill detailed analysis into clear executive takeaways.
  • Business Intelligence Support: Develop and use business intelligence reporting, dashboards, data workflows, and analytical tools to provide functional leaders with practical guidance and support strategic decisions.
  • M&A Growth Support: Support Melink’s M&A and corporate development activity, including deal modeling, financial assessment of target businesses, diligence support, financial schedule preparation, integration tracking, and post-acquisition reporting.
  • Data Workflow Improvement: Own and improve reporting logic, data definitions, dashboard design, ERP/reporting-system outputs, and recurring financial and operational data processes used by Finance and business leaders.
  • Accounting Partnership Support: Partner with Accounting to support periodic close cycles, management reporting, budget-to-actual analysis, and financial statement review.  Be the bridge between Controllership and the operating partners.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Prepare ad hoc analysis and decision support for the CFO, CEO, executive team, Board, investors, bankers, and business leaders as needed.


Finance Manager Qualifications:
 
  • At least 5 years or more of related finance management experience required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Self-motivated and high attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; process improvement oriented
  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting software (e.g. DataRails) and AI support tools (e.g. MS Co-pilot) preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Courteous and professional demeanor with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully and at a high level of competency with all levels of the organization
  • Must have superior people skills with a positive attitude and high energy level
  • Highest level of integrity and strong accountability required
  • Capable of working independently as well as being able to work well in teams
  • Excellent time management
